# Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rehearsd ("the app"), developed by Ameer Osman Yousufzia, a UK-based sole trader (not a registered company). By downloading or using Rehearsd, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

## What Rehearsd is

Rehearsd is a speaking-practice app. You practice conversations out loud with an AI roleplay partner and get feedback and scores to help you improve. It's a practice tool, not professional advice of any kind (not legal, medical, financial, therapeutic, or coaching advice), and the AI's responses and scores are automated and can be wrong or inappropriate at times.

## Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rehearsd. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

## Your account

You sign in via Apple or Google. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything that happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in our [Privacy Policy].

## Subscriptions and payment

Rehearsd requires an active paid subscription to access the app. Subscriptions are securely processed via RevenueCat and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play:
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew automatically until you cancel them.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription directly in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel it for you.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own respective policies, not by us.

## Acceptable use

Please don't:

- Use the app for anything illegal or harmful
- Try to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app or its backend
- Use automated tools to abuse free-tier limits or scrape the service
- Upload or generate content through the app that's abusive, harassing, or unlawful

We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the app.

## AI-generated content

Practice scenarios, conversation responses, feedback, and scores are generated using AI (via our provider, OpenAI). This content is automated, may occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive, or not what you expect, and should not be relied on as fact or professional guidance.

## Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (excluding AI output generated from your input) belong to us or our licensors. You keep the rights to what you write into the app (e.g. custom scenario descriptions), but you grant us permission to process it in order to provide the service.

## No warranty

Rehearsd is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

## Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (such as for fraud).

## Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms.

## Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
